We have been lucky to send both our daughters to the Beacon Learning Centre, and the BLC staff has become part of our extended family, especially throughout the pandemic. All members of the staff lead by kindness, and nurture the children as an integral part of our community. There is attention to their nutrition and physical activity as well, which has contributed to their overall development. We have always felt that our children’s wellbeing has been the BLC’s primary focus, and our children have thrived under their care. Having tried other daycares prior to coming to the BLC, we can confidently say that the BLC has been a true gem.

Our son has been at BLC since the summer of 2020, and in that time he has been provided with the highest level of care imaginable. All of his teachers have gone above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and happy, while also delivering well organized and effective curriculum that has noticeably impacted his development.

BLC does an excellent job with regards to communication. Whether it be through Storypark, email, or phone calls, we are always provided with timely and helpful information. This has been especially comforting throughout the pandemic, when health and safety measures have, understandably, limited in-person interaction.

Finally, BLC does a wonderful job fostering a sense of community amongst families, teachers and administration. When doing drop-off or pick-up, I am always greeted by smiling faces, both from other parents or grandparents, or from the BLC staff.

I would recommend BLC to families, without any hesitation.

We have been involved with BLC for the last 6 years as my son Bobby attended the center 3 years ago and now my daughter Sofia is in the Junior Preschool Program.

Our experience has always been a very positive one. Just a couple of weeks after Sofia started attending the center we saw an improvement in her development. She built an extensive vocabulary and loves interacting with her friends and family.
The staff at BLC is simply amazing! They work together as a team and everyone is warm and welcoming. They are always eager to help and have been supportive whenever we have questions.
During the pandemic, the staff have exhibited that the health, safety, comfort and well-being of everyone is of the utmost importance. I’m extremely impressed with the measures taken by the staff to ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy. The Centre is a safe and secure environment and has a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. It’s bright and spacious with a variety of activity rooms to keep the kids entertained all the time.
They use a platform to inform parents about the daily activities that are happening at their child’s group and you can see how happy the kids are by their smiley little faces!

We are truly happy that both our kids started their learning experience at BLC!!!

I would absolutely recommend BLC to any parent that may be looking for a child care center.

After 18 wonderful months of being home with my son, it was hard for him and I to think about spending our days apart. The staff at BLC went above and beyond to ensure that the transition was as easy as possible. My son is excited every morning to go to daycare and is tired from all the activities at the end of the day. It’s obvious that the staff at BLC put a lot of planning and effort into the children’s activities, meals and schedule. The Centre also does a great job of keeping parents informed on what’s happening. I would definitely recommend BLC to families looking for daycare for their little ones..
